Baby's Breath

Fashionable Stamping Challenge ~ "Make It For A Child"
This fortnight we want to see some projects made with children in mind...from baby cards, to birthday cards to gifts maybe...your imagination is your playground here.

My inspiration this fortnight comes from 2 friends of mine...one 6 months pregnant and the other 7 months pregnant.
Seeing as how they can only have either a boy or a girl...then I figure one of them is sure to have a boy???
Well, that's my theory anyway :)))
I've used one of my favourite bling things to make..."a junk bow" that I learnt from Margie Romney-Aslett and added a rose and leaves into it this time...
and incorporated splashing paint (and all over my table too, more practice needed!!!) from Donna Downey.
Both of these things are just sooo much fun to do.

The background started out with a "cover-a-card" cloud stamp from Impression-Obsession.  Which I then added some gesso to around the edges, and coloured some of it with blue acrylic paint to make the edges more shabby. Using some of these shades I splashed paint and stencilled using bubble-wrap...and splashed some more paint (only because I was having such a good time).

The main image is sleeping baby ~ I Brake For Stamps
and angel wings ~ Stampers Anonymous
just masked and cut out and embossed with nestibilities using a cuttlebug...and inked...and glittered.
And I have used the "out of the box" technique.

And the hearts are made by sticking some jac paper to some white cardstock, punching out in a heart shape, peeling off the top layer and adding blue glitter.

And that's about it ~ remember to pop on over to Fashionable Stamping Challenges and prepare to be amazed at some of the wonderful ideas the stampettes have come up with this fortnight...
Amazing!!!! And have a go at winning a voucher from Marina at Cottage Crafts.

Enjoy!

I am entering this beautiful baby card in the following challenges  ~
