Woohoo...we are up and running!!!
Hi and welcome to the start of a new challenge blog!
"Vintage Stamping Challenges"

We have a fabulous company called Flonzcraft who will be sponsoring us each and every month.
The winner of each monthly challenge will receive a voucher for Leo’s store for $20.
For our very first challenge we have picked one for everyone
Anything Goes

I had sooo much fun making this card...
The Gibson Girl is masked and the roses stamped behind her
and cut with a nestibility using the out-of-the-box technique.

I then stamped the rose again and deconstructed it
so that I could add to and extend the leaves,
as well as 3D-ing the rose itself.

The background is made with distress inks in pinks and blues
using the splodging method.
Texture paste was added through a stencil
and coloured with victorian velvet and aged mahogany inks.
Then I got carried away...
and added more texture paste into the corners
and coloured with my new Viva metallic inks.
Gold rub and buff was finally added as a highlight.

Flonz Stamps used:
Gibson Girl 01
Rose Engraving

I am entering this card into the following challenges ~

Wonderful card, love the victorian feel. And thanks for your comment on my blog. I did want to clarify that Dyan does not do online courses. Christi Tomlinson is the one I was talking about. :-). Dyan was in Kansas City teaching classes but I couldn't make it. :-(.
