"Spring Rain"

Inspired by Water
is the theme this fortnight at Fashionable Stamping Challenges.
We invite you to create absolutely anything to do with water, whether it be about the sea,
a river, rainy days or even puddles!

I've done a few summery themes lately
so I thought a change might be nice ~ so I have gone for raindrops...
and called it "Spring Rain".

I have tried something that is new for me...
I stamped out the raindrops, scanned the image, cropped one of the drops,
put it onto a word doc and increased it's size.
Then printed it onto some card that had been distressed with Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough
and Pine Needles...then smooched and dabbed it until I was happy with it.
Next I made a mask and stamped this gorgeous girl inside it,
and masked it again and stamped the flower...
yes, and masked it again and stamped the raindrops...and then the flowers behind.
I hope that all makes sense lol.

The flowers were then bleached. And the raindrops treated to a little dimension magic!

The stamps are by Ryn and the Artistic Stamper.

The girls at FSC have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on this theme.
Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of the fashionettes,
be inspired and maybe join in the fun.
Flonzcraft are our sponsors and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,
there are spotlights and a top 3 as well.

Enjoy!

This is a lovely card and your raindrops seem ready to wet the tips of your fingers, beautiful. I am also impressed with the idea of putting your image into the raindrop.
