Pretty Filly

is a beautiful filly stamp by Stampendous!

I wanted to create something that looked natural
and helped to bring out the beauty of this stamp.
So...I used teabags!!!

The teabags were left to dry out completely (for days), then gently opened to remove the tea leaves.
You get some really interesting stain patterns and the paper is almost like tissue paper.
The stamping is done simply.  Masked off.
Then I added some DI around the image to help it 'pop' a little.
A little string, some gesso and I think the pretty filly is the hero on this piece.

Off to drink some more tea...

I would like to enter the following challenges ~

A stunning card, wonderful way to use tea. (Coffee granules with a little water, dropped on them, make amazing marks on your card.) Stretching our challenge of Tea for Two but it is certainly a unique entry. Thanks for joining us at Cardz 4 Galz. Caz DT.
