Anything Goes at FSC

Anything Goes
is the theme this month at FSC.

We are all a little busy at this time of year with so much to do leading up to Christmas.
So this is a nice easy challenge to finish the year off with.

It is Summer here now in my part of the world so I thought I would share this nautical piece.

This is a card that I made for Australian Simply Cards magazine.
I love this guy, he reminds me of my father, though he looks nothing like him.  He used to work at the harbour here in Portland.
The stamp is from Stampers Anonymous.

Techniques used in this are masking, water colouring and acrylic block stamping.

The girls at FSC have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on the same theme.

Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of their creativity,
be inspired, and maybe join in our fun.
Flonzcraft are our sponsors this fortnight and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,

there are spotlights and a top 3 picked by the DT as well.

Stamping must be the focal point on your project!

Enjoy!

Summer....... I remember it well! ;) It's cold, grey and raining here in the UK so if you have some sunshine to spare, we could really do with it over here. A wonderful Nautical card Dot with fabulous stamping and great background colour. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

He looks like the original fearsome sea captain Dot but is of course just perfect to go with the ship and very much like the monochromatic feel.

As Sandra said, wet, cold and decidedly miserable and Summer just a memory.

He looks as if he's been on the rum already Dot, wouldn't like to meet him in a dark ally.

Fabulous card.
