Winter or Spring at FSC

"Nature's magic"
is what I am calling this card...it has that air of mystery and wonder when I look at it. Almost magical.

But firstly, I want to say how excited I am about a couple of visitors heading my way all the way from Ireland in a few months time.
It's my boss!!!
Yes, Andrew and Shirley Chillman are coming to visit.
I'm trying to come up with an aussie nick-name for Shirley, but all I've got so far is 'Chiller' lol.
I'll keep working on that one!

Back to this card though...
It is the middle of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere,
and everyone is starting to look forward to seeing the early signs of Spring.
This card has the bare trees, the early appearance of butterflies...
yes, Spring will come eventually.
Over here we still have to get through the heat of Summer before some cooler nights start to kick in.

The most challenging part of this card is where to place the butterfly!
When you stamp onto a piece of acetate you can move it around and see where the best place to put a stamp is.

The background is one of my all-time favourites -
which Wendy Vecchi came up with at CHA in 2014.
You can see the whole demo here.

The girls at FSC have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on the same theme.
Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of their creativity,
be inspired, and maybe join in our fun.
Flonzcraft are our sponsors this fortnight and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,
there are spotlights and a top 3 picked by the DT as well.

Stamping must be the focal point on your project!
Just a reminder that I am a stockist of Visible Image and Stampendous stamps in Australia.
...so, exciting times ahead.  The link to both the Visible Image and Stampendous shops are on my sidebar, along with my e-mail addy for any enquiries.

I'ld like to enter this into the Craft Stamper Challenge Blog too...Anything Goes (with a stamp)

It's another real beauty Dot, you have a unique ability to merge image together as though that was exactly how they were always meant to be, so clever.

Ha Ha Dot me thinks you need some more work on the Aussie nickname as that one has been used before by Andrew's brother x x

Wahoo not long now plus the calendar is starting to get a few crosses on it.

This is probably the most used stamp from my collection but every time I see a design, that you make using it, I fall in love all over again and just want to get it out. Another inspirational make sweets.

Warm crafty hugs from Shirl x x x

Wow! This is gorgeous!! The colors, the layering and the fabulous background; beautiful! I don't know if you remember leaving a comment on one of my cards a couple weeks ago, about how I could use up some of my scraps? Well, I took your advice/idea and created some cards. If you're interested in seeing them, here's the link: www.wirewrapture.blogspot.com/2017/01/scraps.html

Thanks so much for the idea; I love how they turned out!!
