FSC Modes of Transport

Modes of Transport
is this month's theme at FSC

There are so many types of transport to pick from: bikes, boats, trains, planes, cars, tractors..the list goes on.
 A challenge for everyone!
This stamp of a bike on a bridge has been in my stash of stamps for some time and is one that hasn't been used very often
so it was great opportunity to get it out and play.

This card uses a picture stamp as the focal image.
The inking is kept fairly simple and used to give a slight highlight to the image.
The bike on the bridge tells the story all by itself. So peaceful and reflective. The butterflies were an after-thought but somehow it manages to bring the whole piece together.

By keeping the background in neutral tones it helps to bring out the colouring of the image that little bit more.

The girls at FSC have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on the same theme.
Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of their creativity,
be inspired, and maybe join in our fun.
Flonzcraft are our sponsors this fortnight and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,
there are spotlights and a top 3 picked by the DT as well.

Stamping must be the focal point on your project!

Just a reminder that I am a stockist of Visible Image, Rubber Dance and Stampendous stamps in Australia., exciting times ahead. Details are on my sidebar, along with my e-mail addy for any enquiries.

A super scenic creation Dot, not sure if it's meant to be but looks very much like Amsterdam to me, right down to the bike which they have more than their fair share of.

Yep me too Amsterdam! In fact it has the look of Darkroom Door stamps. I love scenes and the frame with die-cut details is a perfect background for it.

A beautiful card Dot, I love the image and it's subtle colouring and the addition of the butterflies just flying into the scene looks fabulous. Great die cut background.
