Visible Image, Image Transfer

Visible Image, Image Transfer

This fortnight I’ve done something a little different
for Visible Image.
Combining the ‘Free Soul’ stamp
with an image transfer background.

The rustic finish to the image transfer really appeals to me with this one.
No – it’s not a picture of me.
(you thought it was me didn’t you lol)
It’s a random one from a magazine.

Then the words are stamped to give a crisp contrast to the background.
The drips on the edges are also stamped to help frame it.

Stamps used are:

  1. Yes, once again, clever going Dot! I love the technique of image transfer and you've used a great image to transfer here and it's really well balanced with all the rest of the stamps – oh you do keep my mind ticking over!!!!! – good job! xxxx

  2. Wow Dot if you hadn't said that it wasn't you then I wouldn't have known any different. I thought I would have known your face anywhere … just shows how the eyesight has gone down hill!!!!

Fabby make sweets and again I love the understated use of colour. It takes an expert to pull off how black and white looks but you have managed to make her look so elegant and alive.

Warm crafty hugs from Shirl x x x
