I’ve a treat for you today with two inspiring creations by Marie-Christine Denis
from our Design Team.
Marie-Christine does wonderful things with stencils and
manages to always have the stenciling look so natural and blending into the background beautifully.
Here is the first page for you …
For this art journal page Marie-Christine has used black journal pages, then added the colour with
gesso and paints.
She has used images from Dina Wakley Collage Collectives, gluing them down before
adding the doodling.
Highlights have been added with gelatos, but you could also use
scribble sticks or crayons if that is what you have on hand.
You can read more about this page on Marie-Christine’s blog here.
The stenciling has been done with black gesso is a gorgeous way to meld the black from
the pages with the foreground.
Here is the second page from Marie-Christine …
On this page Marie-Christine has used the Wheat Stalks stencil from TCW.
Do you like how flowing this design is?
The main stamps used on this art journal page are from Rubber Dance.
Ink Art Designs is the only supplier of Rubber Dance stamps in Australia
which is why we always try to have a great variety on hand.
If you would like to see more about how this page was made
you’ll find a step x step process over on Marie-Christine’s blog here.
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing these
two absolutely gorgeous art journal pages by Marie-Christine.
Wishing you all a crafty day.
