Hello everyone.
We have a special treat for you today with
3 projects to share from the very creative Elisa Ablett.
I look at what Elisa makes and wish I that I could see
them in real life. They would be amazing!

The first project is an art journal page.

Elisa has called this page Take Flight.
She has used gel prints and gorgeous Dina Wakley products.
The journal used for this is the White Journal from DW.
The stamps used are Things With Wings and Mix A Sentiment, both from Rubber Dance.

You can find out more about how this page has come together
over on Elisa’s blog here.

The second project from Elisa is an art journal page
called Normal Is Boring.

“I created a bit of an abstract art journal page using gelli plate prints,
image transfers, bright blue and yellow Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints and
a quirky stamp set from Dina Wakley called ‘Weird is Good’.”

Elisa has been having fun learning and playing more
with gelli printing.
She has also been learning about the techniques of image transferring.
Her journey in this area is explained over on her blog.

I really love how Elisa has used the words to create a border and more detail
to this page.

And her third project is a mixed media tag, called ‘Heart’

There is gel printing and image transferring on this tag too!
It looks so very different from her art journal pages.
Elisa has used a diva doll stamp from Lost Coast Designs on this tag.

More details can be found on Elisa’s blog here.

Three totally different projects,
three wonderful ideas
and all with the common theme of gel printing and stamping.
Do these give you some ideas?
Please check out Elisa’s blog as she has a fantastic way of
explaining how she puts everything together.

Shop News
We’ve had a HEAP of Lavinia stamps arrive at Ink Art Designs recently.
The new 1″ brushes have sold out unfortunately, but they will be
ordered again as soon as possible.

We also had more mixed media products arrive.
Including some more gel plates.
This time we also got in the 4″ & 6″ circle gel plates.
I love how this range is growing.

Rubber Dance have a new stamp release this week!
These have been ordered already and we’ll get them
here to Australia as soon as possible.
More of the other stamp sets have also been ordered.
We’ll share what these stamps look like on our next post.

Wishing you all a crafty day.
Stay safe.
