I have to say that autumn is my favourite time of year.
The air is crisp, the skies are blue and the heat has gone. In this card I have had a go at layering an autumn scene.
The main technique this time around is with alcoholic inks for the leaves and for the background. I love the shine that shows through using this medium. The crispness of the leaves looks so real.
I think that the DI’s soften the intensity of the alcohol inks
and give a whole new dimension to the scene.
And rhinestones and ribbon finish it off.
A HUGE thankyou to all my followers who have stuck with me…I have reached the 100 mark and I am so humbled and thankful to you ALL.
You wouldn’t believe it but my 100th is a local from my home town!
With blogging the world is a smaller place and everyone feels like they are only just up the road. So when someone who is actually just up the road joins in the journey it really is quite something else…
