“Favourite Technique”
is the challenge this fortnight at FSC.
is the challenge this fortnight at FSC.
We especially need to see that the stamping
is the focal point on the project
and that this must follow the format of the theme.
In the last few weeks I have really been trying to concentrate
and work out what it is that I really enjoy doing.
I think the beauty of what we all do is that there is always
something new “just around the corner”
for us to experiment and have fun with.
The card that I made this time uses a technique that Wendy Vecchi
demo-ed at CHA 2014 which I found on you-tube.
It would be fair to say that I absolutely love this with a passion!
My card is also made with some of my
new stamps that I’ve been dying to have a play with.
The one thing that I’ve really been trying to do is
to let the colours and markings
to let the colours and markings
guide you as to what you create…
and the stamps that I had picked out to start with
were not the ones that were used in the end.
and the stamps that I had picked out to start with
were not the ones that were used in the end.
Every time I looked at the inked paper I saw stormy skies clearing…
so birds seemed to be the best choice. No ground.
The leaves are stamped and cut out from the off-cuts of the water colouring.
The stamps are from Stampers Anonymous.
The girls at FSC have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on this theme.
Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of the fashionettes,
be inspired and maybe join in the fun.
Flonzcraft are our sponsors and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,
there are spotlights and a top 3 as well.
Enjoy!
