A Birthday Card
just for my sister.
I thought I would sit down and quickly ink up some card and make something for my sister….but the more I did, the more I wanted to add…you know how it goes!
Now my sister is always stirring me up in one way or another, so when I came up with the idea to stamp some circles onto a book page I couldn’t resist stamping over some ‘select’ words, to stir her back…
I started with getting some ink onto the card using the swiping technique…with heaps of mustard seed re-inker (sooo much fun!)
Then, having some new Finnabair and Dina Wakly stamps, I thought it might be a good chance to play with them.
A little stenciling, some masking, a few splats of paint and some doodling…and there you have it!
And I have made a card that has “Happy Birthday” on it!
