Good morning everyone,
I hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far.
Today I’m sharing a card that I’ve made for Rubber Dance
using the Handsome Hedgehog and Funny Fungi stamp sets.
You will find more details about this card over on the Rubber Dance blog.
The stamping has been left in black and white for this card as the background is
so colourful and busy.
It’s a great way to tone a background down without any fuss.
This week I’ve been addicted to using alcohol inks on a gel plate.
The background for this card is one of my favourite prints that I made.
Have you tried alcohol inks on a gel plate yet?
OMG … it is so quick and the results are spectacular.
The stencil used is Pods, from Lavinia.
Any of the Lavinia stencils would look fantastic with this technique.
I’ll be doing a quick demo on YouTube soon showing just how
quick and easy this technique is.
The print is on plain white card and the colour in real life is quite vibrant.
It took me by complete surprise as usually you need glossy cardstock, or Yupo paper,
when you are using alcohol inks.
I love it when surprised happen!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
(and maybe find time for a little crafting)
