Hand Made Flowers is the theme this fortnight at Fashionable Stamping Challenges!!! And seeing as we are only weeks away from Spring here, I wanted to create a garden that is bursting with flowers and new life…now just to get that to happen in my garden…ummm
Firstly, a warm welcome to my new followers, thanks for joining in!
Checkout the flowers made by the other DT members…they are Awesome!
I have taken some inspiration from Claire’s last card at Fashionable Stamping Challenges, and have used acetate with tulips stamped onto it with StayzOn Ink. I have then turned it over and glitzed and inked it in patches using Rusty Hinge DI again.
Stamps ~ Potted Tulips (Imprint) and Misc.
Inks ~ Distress Inks, Stayz On, Archival Denim
Papers ~ Brazill, Creative Imaginations and KC, photocopy paper (I liked the thickness)
Misc ~ Acetate, Kindy Glitz and brads
I am entering this card in the following challenges
Craft Your Days Away ~ Birthday Celebrations
Crafty 4 Challenges ~ Monochromatic
Marks Finest Papers ~ Distressed Card
Sentimental Sundays ~ Flowers
Sassy Studio Designs Challenge ~ Distress
Simply Create ~ Time to Distress
I've never seen all this work in one card! the acetate is lovely the leaves under being scrunched not to mention the curled torn paper and that handmade flower is the top of the cake! WOW Wow! This is a fab entry for the Sentimental Sundays flowers challenge! Be sure to join us again next time.
Hugs,
Good Luck

Hi Dot,
What a gorgeous card you have designed here. Your handmade flowers are amazing (handmade flowers are my absolute favorite!). I love how you have your layers peeling back – such a sweet vintage effect!
If I'm not mistaken, you ordered from my Etsy shop over the weekend and I mailed you a package today. I was doing a bit of blog surfing this evening and happened to stumble onto your blog and wanted to say hi – but first wanted to compliment you on your wonderful piece!
Thanks for sharing your lovely work!
Linda
