Monoprinting with an acrylic block!
is this month’s theme at Take It, Make It for Craft Stamper
Your project can be anything at all, card, layout, 3D item etc, any theme or colour,
AS LONG AS YOU HAVE USED THE MONOPRINTING WITH AN ACRYLIC BLOCK TECHNIQUE ON THERE SOMEWHERE!
Your print can be used as a background, or you could cut it up and use it in a different way!  Don’t forget, we also MUST have stamping on each entry as well, this is a Craft Stamper challenge after all!

My first DT sample, and first go at monoprinting,
was so much painty fun!!!

I have used a dark pink Viva Decor metallic paint with white gesso.
The sheen on this is gorgeous!!!
And the background has a little Pumpkin Fresco Finish paint in there too (but it is hidden behind the main piece).

The main panel is a scrap piece
where I was just using up the left over paints
– I liked this one because it has some areas of white in it.
The green is peeled paint DI using the ripped paper
and water colouring techniques.
And some dripping (just couldn’t help myself)…

The background had areas of white too but this time I went over it with walnut stain and black soot DI’s
This was the most surprising part ~ it made the monoprinting
turn into a crackle effect!!! I really loved this.

A little stamping on the background and some more painty fun with flicking paint everywhere…I was already messy with paint so I just kept going (so much fun!)

My stamps are from Art Journey.

Hop on over to the Craft Stamper Blog to see the challenge details and see more inspiring samples by the DT.
There is a limited edition paint set by Jo Firth Young to be won!

Enjoy!
