“Looking Back”
Vintage, to me, refers to past years.
Vintage, to me, refers to past years.
It could be childhood memories, or times before we were born.
To me it represents innocence and timelessness.
So with this mind I have created a scene that represents a young lady’s reflection to her past years and innocence. The stylish young lady is the present and the child is the innocent past.
At Fashionable Stamping Challenges this fortnight it is all about Vintage…and how you interpret it.

The white stamping is using versamark on white card and clear embossing before inking up the card.
The child was gold embossed at the same time, so that I could mask her amongst the flowers, when I had finished using the wild honey DI I masked her again to add deeper colours around her for effect.
The lady is stamped with black Stayzon ink onto quick laminate, and gilding flakes put behind her hat band and flowers and attached to card inked in vintage stains, cut and layered and mounted. There is some random stamping using flourishes on the background card.
Enjoy!
The stamps used are ~
Inkadinkadoo 807
Crafty Individuals CI – 277
Stamp It – Faith Bird 4472E, Micky Choo (flourish and flowers)
Butterfly Stamp – just a cling one with no name.
Tim Holtz – Birds
The Inks are Distress Inks and Stayzon Black
Other stuff used is ~
Embossing powders – clear and ranger gold
Quick laminate, ribbon and a tiny heart brad from stash, gilding flakes and rhinestones.

Hi Dot,
I LOVE your blog button–It's gorgeous! I'm putting it on my blog! There are lots of ways to increase your ranking and one of them is to create many back-links. Also, to visit and become a follower and making posts–it all adds up! I do know someone who has 10,000 followers and she only ranks a two…so, this process can take a long time…Some people buy back-links, but Google frowns upon it and will eventually kick them off of the rankings. Interesting, huh?
Sending ((((hugs)))),
