is what I am calling this card…it has that air of mystery and wonder when I look at it. Almost magical.
But firstly, I want to say how excited I am about a couple of visitors heading my way all the way from Ireland in a few months time.
It’s my boss!!!
Yes, Andrew and Shirley Chillman are coming to visit.
I’m trying to come up with an aussie nick-name for Shirley, but all I’ve got so far is ‘Chiller’ lol.
I’ll keep working on that one!
Back to this card though…
It is the middle of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere,
and everyone is starting to look forward to seeing the early signs of Spring.
This card has the bare trees, the early appearance of butterflies…
yes, Spring will come eventually.
Over here we still have to get through the heat of Summer before some cooler nights start to kick in.
The most challenging part of this card is where to place the butterfly!
When you stamp onto a piece of acetate you can move it around and see where the best place to put a stamp is.
The background is one of my all-time favourites –
which Wendy Vecchi came up with at CHA in 2014.
You can see the whole demo here.
The girls at FSC
have come up with some inspiring and very different versions on the same theme.
Please pop on over and check out the awesomeness of their creativity,
be inspired, and maybe join in our fun.
are our sponsors this fortnight and have a generous $20 gift voucher up for grabs,
there are spotlights and a top 3 picked by the DT as well.
Stamping must be the focal point on your project!
Just a reminder that I am a stockist of Visible Image and Stampendous stamps in Australia.
…so, exciting times ahead. The link to both the Visible Image and Stampendous shops are on my sidebar, along with my e-mail addy for any enquiries.
I’ld like to enter this into the Craft Stamper Challenge Blog too…Anything Goes (with a stamp)
